Genova, 22-26 october 2012
(Visione delle Macchine) is a school organized every two years by the "Gruppo Italiano Ricercatori in Pattern Recognition (GIRPR)" affiliated to International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR). This 2012 edition, organized by Francesca Odone and Leila De Floriani, focuses on the interaction of two disciplines, computer vision and geometric modeling. The School also intends to offer an overview on some research activities carried on in the Genova area on subjects related to computer vision, pattern recognition and computer graphics.

16-21 June 2012 - Sean and Ilaria are at CVPR. They've winned the second prize at the demonstration competition of the CVPR workshop on gesture recognition with the demo "can you defeat a robot? all gestures you can: a memory game" !!

This workshop (November, 10th 2011 - DISI) is aimed at presenting different aspects of mathematical modeling in the context of systems biology.
